Director of Operations - Job Description

40,000 + a year based on experience!

PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Director of Operations is responsible for the effective implementation, direct supervision, and evaluation of programs and program staff for all club sites within Barron County. Plans, develops, oversees implementation and supervises program and program staff, and performs related administrative duties.

Program Implementation & Staffing: - Oversees the day-to-day implementation and delivery of youth programs, services, and activities that facilitate the achievement of BGC Priority Outcomes. - Identifies opportunities to improve program effectiveness through additional resources or staff performance plans - Organizes and delivers training and information through staff meetings, in-the-moment coaching opportunities, etc. This is not only monthly, or annually, it is an ongoing effort. - Recruits, selects, and manages assigned staff and volunteers. Provides ongoing feedback and regular appraisal. Supports professional development. - Manages all financial needs of clubs in terms of supplies, needs, etc. - Oversees the school year and summer food program implementation Development & Planning: - Assists with special events and fundraisers -

Develops and collaborates partnerships with other youth serving organizations, communities, school districts, and other opportunities - Provides membership reports & data in coordination with grant reporting and board stats - Interprets the clubs’ mission and needs to effectively communicate it with the staff, board, community, school, and all public speaking engagements - Travels to BGCA conferences and training - Assist in securing grant opportunities Relationships: Internal: Maintains close contact with Site Directors and Executive Director. External: Maintains contact with external community groups, schools, parents, and others.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: ● Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university preferred or equivalent experience. ● Demonstrated ability to organize, file, and track key documents pertaining to Club operations. ● Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. ● Ability to manage multiple tasks and to develop solutions to problems with limited supervision. ● Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Club staff, volunteers, subordinates, Board members, community groups, and other related agencies. ● Valid driver’s license with good driving record and ability to drive club vehicles. ● Advanced computing skills in standard office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Youth Development Professional - For Lincoln Clubhouse 

As a Youth Development Professional, you would assist with meal/snack service, educational programs, cleanup, and homework/reading.

This is a part-time position.

Hiring starts at age 15 - Perfect After-school job!

Pay: $9.75 per hour to start, $10 after 30 days!

Program Leader(s) - Social Skills & Art
$150 Sign on Bous after 60 days!
We are looking for a positive role model to be join our team of program leads at our Lincoln Clubhouse in Rice Lake! This individual will plan and lead programs to educate members in their lead program. This can include topics like mindfulness, critical thinking, good character and citizenship, emotional regulation, anti-bullying campaigns, and more. If you'd like to make a difference with the youth of our county.

Pay: $10.80 to start, 11.07 per hour after 30 days

Front Desk - Lincoln Clubhouse

$150 Sign on Bouns after 60days!

• Job Summary:

This staff member’s primary role is dedication to handling items specific to parents and youth related to membership enrollment.  Accessory to membership orientation and participation tracking, this position will complete various tasks essential to the organizational operation as listed below.



  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience in working with children

  • Knowledge of youth development

  • Proven ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems

  • Positive attitude and upbeat nature when dealing with members and the general public

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written 

  • Superb organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality

  • Strong customer service and people skills

  • Experience handling phone, money, reception, filing and correspondence

Valid driver’s license and good driving history. This is necessary for those that would drive a Club vehicle. To drive children you must be 25 years or older.


Job Responsibilities:

Data System Management

  • Checks members in and out of the Clubhouse.

  • Enters member information into the data management system as needed.

  • Accept membership fees, summer fees, and field trip fees.

  • Receives field trip permission slips and registration and properly records fees in data management system.


Member Services Representative

  • Greets members and visitors politely and maintains attendance, volunteer and visitor logs.

  • Answers telephone, providing general program information, referring callers to other staff or taking messages as necessary.

  • Responsible for the appearance of the front desk.

  • Back-up for new members and family tours.  


Clerical and administrative support

  • Maintains master schedule of Club activities and events, collecting and disseminating information to Club staff, volunteers, members and families as instructed.

  • Answers questions and disseminates information regarding programming.

Monday – Friday 12PM to 6:00PM      Pay: $10.50 to Start, 11.00 per hour after 60 days!
